Southside Small Biz Workshop to Focus on Effective Marketing Techniques
San Antonio, TX — On Monday, February 7, 2022, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Mission Library, 3134 Roosevelt Avenue, the Southside First Economic Development Council will host its third “Échale Gas” small business event of 2022. This workshop will give Southside small businesses the chance to learn about how to get a higher return of their investment from their marketing dollars. Small business owners and entrepreneurs who do business on San Antonio’s Southside will get to hear from experts, including Rafa Juarez of RJC Communications and Ryan Salts, Director of Launch SA. Rafa Juarez who will share some lessons learned his over 20 years of experience creating, writing, filming, and producing marketing campaigns in multiple channels for major brands in different categories.
“This is an important workshop for Southside small business owners and entrepreneurs, because they’ll gain a better understanding of how to produce content and connect their business with websites and apps so their ads reach the right audience through online video, display ads and radio advertising, so they receive a higher return on investment,” said Gabriela Cadena, Interim Executive Director of Southside First.
Mr. Salts, founder of Break Fast & Launch and San Antonio Entrepreneurship Week, will discuss some of the resources and programs available to local entrepreneurs. Through Launch SA, he manages these programs (including Project HELM among others) to drive the entrepreneurship and small business communities forward.
Rafa Juarez, the Principal of RJC Communications, will give a brief overview on how a business can create and distribute a marketing campaign. Through a strategic alliance with radio and digital media affiliates, RJC Communications has the potential to reach out to 85% of Hispanic households in the U.S. through digital and radio campaigns.
